Black Balloon Day 2023
An annual event dedicated to recognizing and celebrating those who have lost their lives to substance use related harms. In doing so, we not only honour the lives lost but also help raise awareness about the stark realities of the crisis that is affecting so many Canadian families. Putting human names and faces behind the often impersonal statistics surrounding the deaths of those we love. (We do not recommend balloon releases but rather suggest using a photo of a black balloon)
