Alcohol and Drug Information and Referral Service (ADITS) - Free, confidential multilingual phone service for substance use issues. Helps individuals find detox, treatment, recovery homes, and support groups etc.

211 BC - 211 BC is a free, confidential, province-wide information and referral service that connects people in British Columbia to community, government, and social services. Available 24/7 by phone (dial 2-1-1), online, and through a mobile app, it helps individuals find support for needs such as housing, food, financial assistance, employment, mental health, addiction services, and support for seniors, newcomers, and families.


Alberta

Virtual Opioid Dependency Program: Clients from all across Alberta can now use the Virtual Opioid Dependency Program Service via telehealth (video conferencing) at Alberta Health Services locations across Alberta. Addiction treatment providers can help you. The Program can provide same day medication starts if you qualify.

Manitoba Addictions Foundation: The foundation provides resources and offers workshops and services.

Manitoba Addictions Help: The Manitoba Addictions Helpline offers confidential support for individuals dealing with alcohol, drug, or gambling problems. They provide information on treatment options and connect individuals to appropriate services.

Manitoba Take Home Naloxone Program: Manitoba's take-home-naloxone program is designed to serve people who inject opioid drugs.

Mental Health & Wellness Resource Finder - this online tool helps Manitobans find mental health, wellness, and addiction resources tailored to their needs. It includes information on services for youth, adults, and families, and allows users to search by location or specific support requirements.

The Link Youth 24-hour Crisis Service - Provides immediate, confidential support for youth and families facing mental health challenges. Horizon Health Network – Addiction and Mental Health Services - Offers services for mental health and addictions for all ages, including outpatient counselling, withdrawal management, medicine for substance use disorders. Also mobile crisis units.

Vitalité Health Network - One of the two provincial health authorities; offers addiction & mental health services in northern and southeastern parts of NB; youth & child services included.

New Brunswick Government – Mental Health / Addiction & Substance Use Services - Offers addiction services (for gambling, substance use), mental health centres, psychiatric units, crisis resources, etc. There is a provincial helpline; services for children, youth, adults.


Newfoundland and Labrador

Mental Health and Addictions Program (Eastern Health) - offers counselling, detox, crisis support, prevention, community counselling, inpatient care etc.

Narcotics Anonymous – Newfoundland and Labrador Area Service Committee - peer-support program for people recovering from drug addiction.

Nova Scotia

Prince Edward Island

Open Access Counselling - Walk-in clinics for mental health or addictions support; no appointment/referral needed
