On a grey January day community members from Powell River BC who have lost loved ones to substance use harms gathered in the name of MomsStopTheHarm  at Willingdon Beach to remember loved ones lost . It was a powerful ceremony with prayer, Indigenous song and support for one another. It was a heartbreaking and beautiful ceremony that brought us all together..The connecting between us all was healing and in doing this we hope to help reduce the stigma and discrimination that is associated with people who use substances and the grief felt by the family members left behind.
