Moms Stop the Harm is inviting individuals who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit) to express interest in joining an Indigenous Priorities Circle. This circle will be led by Indigenous voices to guide and inform our work, ensuring that our programs and supports reflect Indigenous priorities and lived experiences. We recognize that Indigenous communities are deeply impacted by the toxic drug crisis. We also acknowledge that there are many approaches to addressing this public health emergency. Moms Stop the Harm remains committed to treating substance use as a health issue, not a criminal one. We are seeking individuals who are able to dedicate approximately 2-4 hours per month to participate in this work. Your voice and guidance will help shape meaningful, culturally informed supports and programs. For attendance there will be small gift card honorariums for your time. If you are interested, please reach out by emailing Antoinette Gravel-Ouellette. We sincerely hope you will consider joining us in this important work as we listen, learn, and support those who have been impacted by the toxic drug crisis.
